JOB SUMMARY:

The application integration administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, operating, monitoring, and maintaining systems' hardware, software, and related infrastructure as it relates to the University's application portfolio and ERP environment. This role participates in technical research and development to enable continuing improvement and security within the infrastructure. This position also ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures adhere to IT and organizational policies.

REPORTS TO: Manager of Application Integration Services

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  1. Performs software patching and upgrades, rights management, and Windows, UNIX, and Linux server administration.
  2. Oversees the infrastructure and maintenance of SAAS, the University's primary ERP platform as well as all on-premises third-party software platforms.
  3. Oversees the integration, maintenance, and advancement of Moodle, the University's learning management system.
  4. Partner with the Faculty Center for Professional Excellence (FCPE) and the Faculty Senate Committee for Academic Innovation and Technology (SCAIT) to understand emerging academic goals and requirements.
  5. Assist with the University's data warehousing project as well as the digital transformation project which includes, but is not limited to, e-forms, digital signatures, work flows, etc.
  6. Perform other job related duties as assigned by manager, director, or CIO.

REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
  1. Experience in supporting full stack LAMP environments.
  2. Experience in MS SQL Server, MS Windows Server, NoSQL, TCP/IP based networking.
  3. Experience in database analysis, design, and implementation of relational database applications.
  4. Ability to work independently and interact positively with a wide range of users.
  5. Create a culture of customer service and promote IT's value across all levels of the organization.
  6. High ethical standards.
  7. Excellent verbal and written skills.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent training, and/or experience.
  2. Minimum of three years' experience in computer operations and user support required.
