Administrative Assistant


JOB SUMMARY:

Provides support to the offices of Conference & Aux Services and Revenue Enhancement.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Makes calls/follows up on leads
  2. Administration of the University's room reservation software, EMS
  3. Manages the receivables and collectibles of departments by collaborating with Business Office staff
  4. Works with Advisors/Student Activities on events for student groups
  5. Acts as liaison with rental groups while they are on campus
  6. Provides administrative support to office
  7. Acts as back-up to Post Master
  8. Other tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE JOB:

Education level: High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook

Other Requirements of the Job: Good organization, time management and superb customer services skills are also required. Prior administrative and/or sales experience is preferred, but not necessary.

CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION OR LICENSURE REQUIRED BY THE JOB:

Valid driver's license and a driving record with no surcharge events for the past three (3) years are required to drive College-owned vehicle.
