About the Opportunity:
The College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University seeks applicants for Part-Time Lecturers to teach interdisciplinary courses in fields such as computational statistics, data visualization, digital methods, and geographic information systems (GIS).

Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to and experience in teaching quantitatively-oriented students, particularly at the graduate-level. We seek applicants who are familiar with policy-oriented research applications across a broad array of the social sciences and humanities.

Responsibilities:
The instructor will be responsible for the preparation and administration of the class, including teaching classes, administering exams, holding appropriate office hours, and grading. Teaching modality may be online and/or in-person on the Boston campus.

Qualifications:
Candidates should have a PhD or be doctoral-qualified with demonstrated teaching experience or the equivalent. Candidates for GIS courses should have a master's or doctoral degree in GIS, geography, or a closely-related field.
