The Staff Accountant completes a variety of daily, weekly and monthly accounting responsibilities. Regular attendance is required with the possible need to work overtime in the evenings and weekends during quarter end and year-end close periods. Good attitude with the ability to work well with others and focus on overall team objectives. Good technology skills are a must. Ability to learn and adapt to change. Detailed responsibilities include:
- Assures all revenue is posted correctly into the GL
- Various daily processing and reconciling functions with other offices
- Reconciling various large and complex bank accounts
- Reconciling various other accounts as assigned
- Prepare assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries and assist other staff as needed
- Prepare various quarter-end schedules as requested
- Various process improvement projects and initiatives as needed or identified
