Anatomy & Physiology Lab Instructor

Position Summary: The Department of Science and Mathematics at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College seeks to hire an Anatomy & Physiology Lab Instructor, with appointment beginning August 1, 2022. This is a 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty position. 

Teaching responsibilities may include Anatomy and Physiology Lecture and multiple Anatomy and Physiology Lab sections.  The successful candidate will be expected to participate in development of new course materials and improvement of existing curricula. Applicants must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and be able to foster a collaborative atmosphere among students and faculty. The successful candidate will be a strongly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a firm commitment to excellence in teaching.

 Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College is a residential state college located in Tifton, Georgia, named one of the best 100 small towns in America. The college offers associate and baccalaureate degrees, including the Biology B.S., and has an approximate enrollment of 3900.

Qualifications: Doctoral degree in biology, physiology or other appropriate discipline preferred; master’s degree in biology, physiology, or other appropriate discipline is required. Evidence of successful teaching at a primarily undergraduate institution and scholarly activity is preferred.
