Summary: Performs administrative and secretarial duties with
considerable latitude for exercising judgment and discretion which
includes providing administrative assistance in problem-solving,
completing projects, and day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid
and Veteran Services Offices.
The Administrative Assistant position is a full-time career service
position. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative
support to the Financial Aid and Veteran Services areas. The
Administrative Assistant will prepare purchase order requisitions,
budget amendments, travel requests, property dispositions, record
retention, and other electronic forms. Additionally, will assist
with the call center and front window, coordinates schedules and
arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves, and prepares
facilities. This position reports to the Director, Financial
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or GED
equivalency, two years secretarial experience, and demonstrated
computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
(including Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, etc.) in a networked
office setting, and internet navigation. College coursework may be
substituted on a year for year basis for the required experience. *
