The Limestone University Art Program seeks a qualified candidate for the tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design & Studio Art

Limestone University is a small independent liberal arts university. The Art Program, with the collaboration of the Communications Program, offers a BA degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Studio or Graphic Design. The ideal candidate will teach a broad range of courses including but not limited to Graphic Design and Studio Art (specifically Printmaking & Painting). The maximum teaching load is 30 contact hours per year. Other responsibilities include facilitating the annual Candelabra fine arts publication, maintaining office hours, advising, departmental and university service, classroom, and studio maintenance, etc. Studio and office space will be accommodated with reasonable assistance for scholarly productivity. Salary is dependent on qualifications. 

Qualifications:

Master of Fine Arts degree. Experience using Canvas as educational delivery system is preferred. Ability to teach a broad range of courses in Studio Art, with Graphic Design as their primary responsibility.
