Student Health and Wellness (Division of Student Affairs)
The UMKC Student Health and Wellness Clinic functions as a general
health care facility that provides evaluation and treatment for a
wide variety of health concerns. We are staffed with dedicated
professionals and provide easily accessible and affordable health
care to enrolled students. Our facility specializes in the overall
health and well-being of each student in our campus community by
offering a comprehensive list of services.
The Student Health and Wellness Clinic is looking for a Clinical
Technician to assist with both administrative and clinical duties.
This position will work closely with clinic staff to provide
quality care to our students.
- Open/Close the office
- Schedule patient appointments
- Check-In/Out patients
- Make reminder calls
- Document Scanning
- Document Faxing
- Answering the phone
- Making copies
- Rooming Patients
- Performing Point of Care Diagnostic Testing
- Returning patient calls
- Reporting normal lab results
- Stocking clinical spaces
- Cleaning clinical spaces
- Inventory support
- Duties as assigned by the RN
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience
from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be
acquired is necessary. Certifications as required by regulatory
agencies is necessary.
Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
