Student Services Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates activities associated with financial aid services and
assist the Senior Director with special projects as needed.
Assist students and parents with the application, disbursement, and
repayment procedures associated with AUM’s financial aid
Assist in the awarding, disbursement, and possible cancellation of
Manage the coordination of Outside scholarship funds, and
Private/Alternative loan programs.
Coordinate the review process for ISIR corrections; the importing
and exporting of ISIR, COD, and other loan files.
Coordinate training of support staff and student workers for
Assist students and parents with all phases of financial aid
Assist in the review and updating of office policies, procedures,
Monitor “Satisfactory Academic Progress” and adjust awards
Provide FA outreach services to high schools and junior colleges as

Conduct student interviews.
Develop, manage, and/or interpret related files (e.g. payroll,
documents, reports, forms).
Maintain related policies, procedures, and regulations to assure

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of the University’s policies and procedures and those
related to financial aid.
Knowledge of acceptable customer service techniques.
Knowledge of Banner Student and appropriate software systems.
Skill in making written and oral presentations.
Ability to plan and implement program operations.
Ability to select and train work study students to assist in office
Ability to process, review, and evaluate student documents.
Ability to conduct student interviews.
Ability to interpret federal and state regulations and meet
Bachelor’s degree is required and two (2) years of experience in
financial aid administration and/or student services is required.
Experience with Banner Student processing system is preferred.
