A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking a Rotation Site Coordinator on the Kirksville, Missouri campus. The position reports to the Director of Student Medical Education (DSME) and to the Director, Clinical Affairs. The Rotation Site Coordinator is responsible for facilitating KCOM clinical curriculum (years 3 and 4) and providing administrative support in the region as needed. Other general responsibilities include assisting with the overall
tracking of student rotations and data entry in the appropriate electronic tracking program.
Major Job Duties
- Prepare letters of good standing
- Complete applications
- Provide needed paperwork to schedule rotations
- First line communication to assist students with schedules, questions, concerns, problems, etc.
- Utilize University identified electronic tracking program to maintain accurate rotation and student information
- Maintain database of active preceptors for medical students
- Maintain current contact list of students (address, telephone, etc.)
- Maintain list of education day activities and online course/assessment documents
- Facilitate scheduling and proctor student post rotation exams
- Track and ensure completion of assessment documents, logs, etc. by students and preceptors
- Attend Zoom on-line session meetings with main campus and regional representatives
- Provide list of active preceptors for annual recognition project
- Generate reports related to site assigned students as needed
- Provide site specific information for campus publications (site guide, surveys, etc.)
- Assist with student site tours, orientation, annual site visit
- Attend annual conference held in Kirksville as available
- Additional duties as assigned to facilitate learning,
educational curriculum and assessment toward student
success
- College degree in business/management preferred (or combination of education and experience)
- Must have knowledge of business and office practices
- Must have knowledge of leadership and communication
- Experience working in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Professionalism, time management, accuracy a must
- The individual must be able to communicate clearly with
faculty, staff and students (orally and written
communication) - Must demonstrate the ability to perform tasks and flexibility to adapt
