Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
This posting is for an Adjunct for temporary assignment within the NCCU School of Library and Information Sciences. The Adjunct will teach graduate level courses in either Library Science or Information Science, and will be paid per course. Adjunct faculty will be responsible for holding office hours that correspond to the course hours taught.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in at least one or more areas of library and information science, that may include, but is not limited to:
- School media or youth and adolescent librarianship
- Information systems (including information retrieval, data science and analytics, visualization, bibliometrics, artificial intelligence)
- Digital humanities
- Museum and cultural studies (including museum informatics, archives and records management)
- Design for digital experiences particularly for K-12 education or for libraries, community anchor institutions, museums and cultural institutions; systems analysis and design, design thinking
- Information policy and Information and Society
- Digital divide, diversity, and inclusion; Social impact of information technology for social good
- Adoption and diffusion of IT
- Digital literarcy including programming and coding to serve non-traditional learners
- Digital Inclusion
