Responsibilities

The primary role of this position is to manage all aspects of the Institute for Professional Studies.

·         Oversee the collaboration of curricular oversight for all programs/courses delivered under the Institute model

·         Hire, onboard, coach, and evaluate all Institute adjunct faculty members

·         Develop and implement course schedules that support the delivery of the Institute programs

·         Ensure assessment best practices are in place for all courses and programs

·         Direct professional advising staff to deliver concierge-level student support to the Institute students

·         Direct instructional design staff in support of the faculty and best practice course delivery

·         Collaborate with Dean to develop new programming to be delivered in the Institute model

·         Collaborate across campus with academic units in delivery of current programs with the Institute model

·         Manage budget for Institute

·         Teach appropriate courses within the Institute schedule of courses – Position will be a faculty role with course release to do the work of the Director.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

·         A dynamic and engaging leader who attracts talented staff and values time spent motivating and mentoring faculty and staff to deliver consistently excellent instruction and service to the Institute student

·         Superb communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; someone who has routinely spoken in public and on behalf of an organization to promote knowledge.

·         Experience collecting, assembling and utilizing data to establish metrics that can drive decision-making

·         Terminal degree (Ph.D or DBA.)

o   Prefer in areas of business, human resources, healthcare administration

·         Excellence in teaching in online modalities at the college level (3-5 years)

·         Experience supporting adult and graduate programming
