Position Summary
The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for receptionist and administrative support duties in the Office of Admissions and Outreach. Critical responsibilities include, providing front line reception and customer service, managing the office's email account, greeting campus visitors, answering phones, assisting with office operations management, handling calendars and performing any other administrative duties required. The incumbent is responsible for opening the front office and maintaining office advising drop-in schedule. The incumbent must be able to work independently to ensure the effective operation of the front desk in the Office of Admissions and Outreach.
FLSA: Non Exempt
CSU Classification Salary Range:$ 3,064.00 - $ 5,148.00
Hiring Range: Anticipated hiring range will be near the minimum of the classification range, commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills and training.

Pay Plan: 12 months
Work Hours: 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Hours may vary depending on department need.

Minimum Qualifications
Entry to this classification requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. Additionally, incumbents are expected to have a thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Some positions may require a knowledge of business mathematics beyond basic arithmetic. The ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages is also a prerequisite.
These entry qualifications would normally be obtained through a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience.

- Experience in clerical and administrative support functions for academic and/or special programs
- Experience providing a broad range of customer service
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Customer Relations Management
- Experience in many different administrative duties; office procedures, and secretarial duties.

- Working knowledge of Customer Relations Management system i.e. Hobson
