Assistant Professor - Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Penn State Erie, The Behrend Campus, invites applicants for a tenure-line faculty position starting in Fall 2021 at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The selected candidate should be committed to excellence in undergraduate education, an active research program, and service to the university. The candidate should have specialization and teaching interests in one of the following areas: microelectronic circuits, integrated circuit design, analog and mixed-signal circuit design, or communications. Applied research and collaboration with local industry are highly valued as part of Penn State Behrend’s Open Lab initiative.

The selected candidate must be able to work in a collaborative environment and establish a research program that integrates undergraduate student experiences. A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is required.

Employment will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Penn State Behrend is an undergraduate and graduate college of The Pennsylvania State University.
