Instructor of Adult Education

Arkansas State University – Beebe, a two-year residential community college a part of the Arkansas State University System, invites applications for an Instructor of Adult Education.  This is a grant funded position.

Provide 12 months of Adult Education classes. This instructor will primarily be housed in White County but could cover one of our other locations as needed. Will work day and evening hours. This is a grant funded position. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 1. Provide training for all Adult Education students that will prepare them for the GED or improve basic skills needed to enter college. 

2. Create and implement lesson plans based on CCR standards to use with Adult Education students. 

3. Provide any needed assessments for prospective and current students. 

4. Complete all mandated professional development. 

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.   Required Education and/or Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in Education.  Must hold a valid Arkansas Teaching license.
