Lecturer in Economics/Finance/Marketing/Management

Three positions at the rank of Lecturer (Full-time). These are 3-year contract positions, with the possibility of renewal. Starting from April 2022 (or Sept. 2022).

We seek highly energetic, passionate educators to teach Business and Economics courses within our international liberal arts curriculum. Candidates from all fields of Business and Economics with a strong research background and teaching record are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to broadly trained candidates with experience and the ability to teach in accounting, finance, management, and marketing. We seek broadly trained candidates with experience working in interdisciplinary contexts or having intellectual interests and backgrounds that indicate an ability to teach and work in an interdisciplinary, highly collaborative atmosphere.

We are especially interested in candidates with the ability to teach the following courses: derivatives, fintech, international financial markets and cryptocurrencies, behavioral finance, international banking, industrial relations, human resource management, management of technology, negotiations, understanding careers, and managerial labor markets, multinational management, brand management, consumer behavior, digital marketing, global marketing and, retailing and E-tailing. 

Minimum qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Business/Economics, or related disciplines with a good publication
record, or MBA with teaching experience
- Outstanding teaching skills
- Near-native English skills. Japanese language skills are desirable.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and academic background and are competitive in the field. Benefits are based on regulations of Yamanashi Gakuin University. Medical insurance and pension.
