Job Summary:

Teach one or more sections of French 228, Intermediate Language and Culture (3-4 credits) or French 271, Introduction to Literary Analysis (3-4 credits) at 40% time for each section. The Lecturer is solely responsible for course work preparation, classroom instruction, holding office hours, grading of homework, exam preparation, administration of exams and exam grading under the general supervision of the Chair of the Department.

Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience at the college/university level preferred.

There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to teach one or more of the course(s) listed on the PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
