Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant, reporting to the Assistant VP of Annual Giving, is responsible for coordinating and managing administrative operations for the Annual Giving office at Northeastern, including the processing of invoices and contracts; content updates and additions on the Annual Giving website on behalf of the department and the schools and colleges; assisting with the creation of online forms and giving pages, support for events, and serving as the primary liaison between Annual Giving and the schools and colleges. This position involves significant professional interaction with the marketing and advancement teams in the schools and colleges, donors and prospects, outside vendors, and student employees as needed. A high degree of diplomacy, tact and donor confidentiality is required due to the level of interaction with Northeastern alumni and parents.

Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher preferred, 1-3 years of experience preferably in a higher education or nonprofit fundraising environment. Excellent organizational, communications (written and oral), interpersonal, and computer skills (specifically with Microsoft Excel); Detail oriented; Ability to be a self-starter; Strong customer service focus; Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with alumni, students, parents, friends, staff, faculty, vendors and external entities; Ability to work independently and in a team environment on several projects at a time. This position requires four days in the office, with one work from home day allowed per week.
