The UCLA Anderson School of Management is seeking to fill a position for a senior scholar in the area of innovation. A wide variety of research interests might fit within this broad category, including but not limited to the economics of innovation and technology, innovation finance, the management of technology, the science of science, technology entrepreneurship, and technology strategy. Depending on the person's background and interests, the individual could be appointed to one or more of the school's academic units: Accounting; Behavioral Decision Making; Decisions, Operations, and Technology Management; Finance; Global Economics and Management; Management and Organizations; Marketing; and Strategy.

This senior scholar will help to lead the school's initiatives on innovation and technology in research and in teaching both inside and outside the classroom. The ideal candidate will therefore also have an interest in and a demonstrated ability to lead innovation-related curricular and co-curricular activities.

The School seeks to appoint a scholar at the tenured associate or full professor level starting in the 2022-23 academic year. In evaluating applications, the search committee will evaluate evidence of outstanding research and teaching potential. We particularly welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. Candidates must have a PhD degree (or equivalent) and has held a ladder faculty position.
