Job Summary

The high energy physics group at Drexel University invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in experimental neutrino physics. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on both the DUNE long baseline and PROSPECT short baseline neutrino oscillation experiments, with opportunities in detector R&D, simulation, and analysis. This work will be strengthened by other active areas of research in the Department of Physics, including neutrinoless double beta decay with nEXO, astrophysical neutrinos with IceCube, and direct dark matter detection with SBC and PICO.

This position is for one year initially, renewable for up to three years subject to available funding. A PhD in physics or related field is required, and doctoral candidates should indicate the expected date of completion for all degree requirements. The successful applicant will have a background in experimental nuclear or particle physics. Experience with instrumentation, data analysis, and simulation is desired. Work-related travel will be required.
