Position Purpose
The Center for Technology and Behavioral Health ( CTBH ) at Dartmouth College is seeking a half-time Research Assistant (RA) to join a research study examining the effectiveness of medications for opioid use disorder ( MOUD ) among adults with opioid use disorder ( OUD ) involved in the justice system in New Hampshire. This study is funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse ( NIDA ), through the Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network ( JCOIN ) initiative. By partnering with local and state justice systems, the studies in the JCOIN initiative seek to increase high-quality care for justice-involved people with opioid use disorder ( OUD ). In this collaboration with New York University, community partners in New Hampshire, and Dartmouth College, this project specifically seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of the FDA -approved extended-release buprenorphine formulation versus extended-release naltrexone.
The RA will work under the direct supervision of the Project Director and under the overall supervision of the Center Director, Dr. Lisa Marsch. The RA will be responsible for assisting with participant recruitment, preparing study supplies for research assessments, and providing general research and administrative support. Additionally, the RA will be responsible for conducting standardized assessments with study participants both on Zoom and in-person. The RA will also help complete participant outreach and will work to remain in contact with study participants. The RA will primarily work in the office in Lebanon, NH. This position requires some travel between study sites in the Concord and Manchester NH regions, and the Dartmouth College offices.
Note: Continuing employment is based on availability of grant funds.

* 5 years relevant experience including prior research experience or equivalent
* Bachelor’s degree in human services related field, or the equivalent.
* Meticulous attention to detail; organized, efficient, and able to handle competing priorities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must hold a valid driver’s license and be qualified under the terms of the Dartmouth College Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Policy
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous project-related work including prior work with study population, within medical setting/clinical setting, conducting standardized assessments
