Job Details
The Department of Geography, Planning, and Sustainability is seeking dedicated adjunct instructors in Urban and Regional Planning, Food Systems Planning, Historic Preservation, and Transportation Policy and Planning. The department is open to special topics proposed by adjuncts as well.
Course sizes are relatively small, and our students are committed and engaged. Courses are frequently offered in the evenings, but other scheduling options are available in consultation with the Chair of Geography, Planning, and Sustainability.
Candidates for adjunct positions must have a master’s degree, preferably in the field in which they are teaching. Work experience in the teaching field may be substituted for a master’s degree in the teaching field, but a master’s degree is required.
