Purpose of Position
The Construction Management program in the Haile/US Bank College of Business at Northern Kentucky University seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to begin in January 2022. We invite candidates from all areas of specialization to apply; particular consideration will be given to those with expertise in: Construction Materials, Cost Control, Sustainable Construction, Virtual Construction, Estimating, and Structures. Salary will be based on a nine-month, academic year appointment.

The Construction Management program is housed in the multidisciplinary department of Marketing, Sports Business, and Construction Management. Currently, it has approximately 160 undergraduate students and 4 full time faculty. The program enjoys the support of key construction firms in the tri-state area represented on its active industry advisory board. The AACSB - and ACCE -accredited Haile/US Bank College of Business serves over 2,100 of NKU’s 14,000+ students with a full complement of traditional degree programs, plus several nationally recognized institutes, centers, and specialized programs. Teach undergraduate courses; pursue scholarship of teaching, research, and/or outreach in accordance with the mission of the university; fully participate in the assessment of student learning outcomes; work with student organizations and/or mentor student competition teams; collaborate with other disciplines and interact with the industry; participate in service activity in support of the university and college missions; and participate in or lead service learning projects. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. required, in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field – preference will be given to those holding a Ph.D. at the time of application, but ABD candidates with evidence of imminent completion (no later than May 31, 2022) may also be considered.
