Job Summary
The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is accepting applications for a Coordinator, Testing Services.
This position provides professional-level direction, management, communication, evaluation, and oversight of a peer-tutoring program. The Coordinator is responsible for providing, tracking and coordinating tutoring services, as well as overseeing the daily operations and all academic support activities of the program.
Essential Functions
- Oversees the daily operations to include recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating tutors.
- Develops tutor work schedules to ensure the tutoring services are properly staffed with appropriate academic subject experts.
- Recommends and implements programmatic policies and procedures for tutoring services. Assesses effectiveness of programs and services.
- Gathers, analyzes, and reports data and uses the results to make continuous improvements to tutoring services.
- Communicates professionally with the program supervisor, tutors, academic advisors, students, faculty, and other stakeholders concerning programs and services.
- Collaborates across campus with other tutorial programs to share best practices.
- May perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
