Qualifications – Doctoral degree in Health Policy, Health Services Research, Public Health, Health Economics, or a closely related field is required by the employment start date. Relevant post-doctoral experience, or extensive pre-doctoral research or policy experience; demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research, which may include cooperative extension or governmental collaborations; evidence of effective communication skills; and evidence of potential for effective service to the university and profession are also preferred.

Responsibilities – Responsibilities include establishing an independent research program through external funding, advancing the University’s research agenda in the area of Health Management & Policy; teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the HMP program; advising MPH and PhD students; providing service to the University, profession, and the practice community in the field of public health; and working collaboratively with faculty in HMP and in other disciplines, particularly within the College.
