Position Summary: The Donor Relations Coordinator is part of the Donor Relations team, which communicates the impact of philanthropic support to our donors. This position is responsible for a variety of projects and tasks, including:
● Manage annual endowed fund and scholarship reporting processes. Coordinate outreach with scholarship recipients for donor meetings and University events.
● Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to gather information needed for annual Impact Report.
● Develop reports that relay the impact of a donor’s gift(s) and write proposals to inspire funding for University of Dayton programs and initiatives.
● Serve as division point person in creating, managing, and sending all thank you video request campaigns using ThankView platform. Create innovative strategies which utilize messages of student, faculty and staff messages of gratitude to support University Advancement goals.
● Serve as team lead to implement comprehensive stewardship plan for annual giving day.
● Assist with acknowledgements, as needed.
● Develop standardized current use scholarship reporting process and oversee implementation of forthcoming donor portal. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.

One to two years of related experience.

Experience in creating publication quality materials from concept to finished product.

Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks.

Ability to communicate empathy, gratitude and philanthropic impact.

Strong interpersonal skills and a high comfort level for reaching out to various campus partners to acquire information for projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Communication, marketing, or degree in related field.

Raiser’s Edge experience.

Ability to work within InDesign, when provided with templates.

Knowledge of AP style. Knowledge of educational environment. Knowledge of Catholic traditions.

Experience in meeting and managing deadlines.

Demonstrated collaboration skills, including experience as a member of a creative team.

Commitment to excellent customer service.
