The Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China (CCC) at
the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies
(PIIRS) at Princeton University invites applications for a
postdoctoral, or more senior research associate, for the 2022-2023
academic year. One postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded. The
appointment is for one academic year, with the possibility of
renewal for a second year pending satisfactory performance and
continued funding. Preferred start date September 1, 2022. The
ideal applicant should have completed a Ph.D. within the past three
years and study aspects of contemporary Chinese society from a
social science disciplinary perspective. The position is open to a
scholar who would be in residence and participate in all of the
Center's activities, including student-faculty seminars, workshops,
and public lectures. He/she will have opportunities to collaborate
