Dean of the Loewenberg College of Nursing

The University of Memphis has retained ZRG Partners to recruit a dynamic, innovative, and exceptional academic nursing leader to serve as the next Dean of the Loewenberg College of Nursing (LCON).

The new Dean will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer of the College and will report directly to the Provost. The responsibilities include all the academic programs and operational functions of the College. Core to this deanship is a strong commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion and being an advocate for the University’s and College’s mission related to addressing health equity through research, education, community engagement and public service. 

The Loewenberg College of Nursing is the largest public college of nursing in the state of Tennessee. Current enrollment exceeds 1,000 students, with 65 full-time nursing faculty positions as well as extensive academic and practice partnerships, including over 300 clinical affiliations across Memphis and West Tennessee.

Candidates must demonstrate or possess:

• An earned doctorate in nursing or a related field;
• Eligibility for licensure in the State of Tennessee;
• Eligibility for the rank of Associate or Full Professor with tenure;
