Position Summary
This is a position in Sponsored Projects Services ( SPS ) within the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development which manages and supports the research infrastructure, provides good stewardship of external funding, and provides the best support possible for University researchers.
The Account Establishment Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely establishment and maintenance of all sponsored accounts based on regulations, sponsor terms and various policies.
The primary duties of the Account Establishment Specialist fall into the following areas:

The primary duties of the Account Establishment Specialist fall into the following areas:
- Accurate and timely establishment and maintenance of sponsored accounts in the Oracle business system.
- Ensuring accurate input and interpretation of sponsor requirements and regulations affecting award establishment and reporting requirements.
- Review, analyze and obtain missing information and input of the award information into the Oracle business system.

- Associate’s Degree and 4 years of progressive experience in a relevant professional position
- Excellent math skills
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
