    Department Summary
    The University of Oregon Intercollegiate Athletic Department's primary purpose is to provide a unique opportunity for student-athletes to be developed, tested, and encouraged to reach their maximum potential in every aspect of their lives. It is the steadfast goal of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to provide the most outstanding student-athlete experience by helping them to achieve excellence, both in the classroom and in their chosen sport. The department has approximately 250 administrative & classified employees and hosts over 600,000 spectators annually and represents the University of Oregon in athletic competition with other universities & colleges.
    Position Summary
    The Manager of Athletic Administration will oversee functions for the Executive Senior Athletic Directors' offices, exercising independence and discretion while maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities include assisting executives with all donor events, aiding with donor communications and relations, assisting with Oregon Club booster activities when available, and helping with Oregon game day needs for various sports. This position regularly requires the exercise of independent judgment and comprehensive knowledge of the University of Oregon, its programs, personnel, and constituency groups, and the issues it faces. This position will manage student staff, events, and budgets, and will make decisions independently.

    This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the Intercollegiate Athletics Department, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University of Oregon, Pac-12 Conference, and the NCAA.

    Responsibilities may require this position to work occasional nights and/or weekends.
    Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of skills and experience
  • Two years of experience as administrative support in athletics or comparable field
    Professional Competencies
  • Expertise with Microsoft office including the ability to develop PowerPoint presentations.
  • Adobe Photoshop and InDesign skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to make informed decisions on behalf of the Senior Executive Athletic Directors.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to appropriately manage confidential/sensitive information.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse group of students, coaches, staff, donors, season ticket holders, and other athletic department and University constituents.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university in athletic administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience working within Division I college athletics.
  • Candidates with experience serving the needs of diverse populations are strongly desired.
