Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Tenure System
Position Summary
The Precision Health Program in the Department of Radiology at Michigan State University is accepting applications for an Assistant to Full Professor position (tenure system); rank will be determined by qualifications. The successful candidate will be a highly innovative scientist with a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences, 8-10 years of research experience and a track record of excellence in nanotechnology in application to cancer, diabetes and other pathologies. Familiarity with application of nanoparticle carriers for therapy and in vivo imaging is a plus. The candidate is expected to establish a sustainable research program, participate in collaborative research, make significant scholarly contributions to their discipline, obtain extramural funding and engage in institutional and professional service.
Required Degree
Doctorate -Biomedical Sciences
Minimum Requirements
PhD in biomedical sciences with 8-10 years of research experience in biomedical sciences, experience in nanoparticle formulation, testing and in vitro and in vivo applications
Desired Qualifications
Hands-on experience with nanomaterial formulations, analytical assays, testing and imaging
