Baruch College – Lecturer in Accounting
Job Description:
The Stan Ross Department of Accountancy at Baruch College is
seeking applicants for one Lecturer position in Accounting starting
Fall 2022, subject to final budget approval.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate
courses in accounting, mentor students (undergraduate and master’s
students), and share responsibility for committee and department
assignments.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to
teach successfully.
Candidate must have an undergraduate or master’s degree in
accounting or a related field and, importantly, must have a very
strong professional background in accounting. Prior professional
work experience in accounting or auditing standard setting, or
accounting or auditing policy work would be ideal. Candidates must
also demonstrate a commitment and ability to deliver high quality
teaching and to cooperate with colleagues for the good of the
institution.
