This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. The Academic Records Specialist performs complex, responsible work in administering processes and providing services related to student academic records, registration, enforcement of academic regulations, etc. The Academic Records Specialist modifies, updates, and interprets student information in several databases, applies academic regulations to a variety of situations, performs complex calculations, and investigates and resolves reported errors in academic records. The Academic Records Specialist exercises a significant amount of independent judgment and discretion in the performance of their job duties. Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent Other Education & Formal Training Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Class Management Software, Other - Degree Audit, Banner/Ellucian Student Information System experience preferred Experience
Two (2) years administrative support or customer service experience required.

One (1) year accounting, budgeting, or cashier related experience required. Other Experience Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position: Criminal History check Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Attention to detail, Budget-related skills, Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal, Knowledge of a University environment preferred, Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines, Maintain confidentiality Other Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Specify sensory abilities: Physical & Environmental Factors: Other Physical & Environmental Factors Lifting weight Special Working Conditions: Irregular work hours, Professional appearance, Work in stressful conditions Other Special Working Conditions Ability to Keyboard Keyboarding test required.
