Purpose of Position
To provide administrative leadership and management to develop procedures and implement systems related to faculty personnel matters for the Haile/US Bank College of Business ( COB ) and to support the Dean(s). This includes following University policies and procedures related to faculty appointments, tenure, promotions, compensation, and leave of absences, and advising of faculty members, department chairs, and administrative offices of related practices of the COB . Primary Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Faculty Administration and Support: Provides administrative support in recruitment & hiring processes including assistance when needed in relation to H1-B applications, green card applications; support for advancement and professional development; support for International Business program
• Dean & Associate Dean Support: provides administrative support including calendar management, meeting preparation, travel coordination, student assistant hiring & oversight, budget support & office assignments
• College Event Management & Coordination: coordinates logistics of major events and programs for the dean’s office
• Accreditation & Student Scholarship Maintenance: gathers, evaluates, & interprets data in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs
• Facilities: Monitors facilities in the college & ensures workorders are submitted as needed Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree, two or more years of office management/administrative assistant experience, proficiency in all Microsoft office applications, ADOBE and basic office equipment; experience with myNKU/ SAP is preferred; ability to lift and work with light objects (generally <25 lbs).

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to handle numerous tasks at one time.

She/he will demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills, time management, mature judgement, work ethic, teamwork, detail orientation, creativity, ability to work independently and commitment to results.
