Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Administrative Systems, this position provides administration and maintenance of Virtual Servers, Cloud Infrastructure, and Applications for the College. This position assists with the deployment of the virtual environment for both desktop and applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performance Requirements*
- Monitor Virtual Desktop and Virtual Server Infrastructure system performance
- Reviews user login issues and provide solution
- Installs and updates software and master images
- Installs and updates PowerShell scripts
- Reviews technical documentation, system changes, and system performance
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College ( TCC ) InstituteSupports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity, and service to the College
- Supports the mission, values, and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College
*Performs other related tasks as required
SUPERVISION – Works under the general supervision of the Director of Administrative Systems.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures
- Associate’s degree or 60 hours and two (2) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and related experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- IT industry-standard certification (i.e. MCITP, MCP, VCP, or CompTIA Network+)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator
- ITIL 4 Foundations
- Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Demonstrated knowledge in troubleshooting routine hardware and software issues with the data center architecture
- Basic knowledge of Visio and VMware
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge in supporting a Microsoft Windows environment
- Skilled in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Domains
