Assistant Professor of Management

The business administration division of the Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at Pepperdine University is seeking an assistant professor of management. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in management or a related field such as Industrial-Organizational Psychology and demonstrate a genuine interest in teaching undergraduate students in an institution committed to the liberal arts. While management will be the main teaching assignment, the ability to teach in other management areas such as organizational behavior, human resource management, and entrepreneurship is strongly preferred. Candidates are expected to complete all requirements for the degree before the date of appointment, which begins August 1, 2022. Documented research interest in management is required. Preference will be given to candidates with practical and teaching experience.

The business program at Seaver College is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The division offers Bachelor of Science degree programs in accounting, business administration, finance, and international business along with several minors.
