Job Summary:
Florida Southern College invites applications for a full-time
tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in the School of
Physical Therapy. Prior experience in graduate-level teaching in
Neuroscience and/or Pediatrics is preferred. The Physical Therapy
Program is housed in a new building with state of art laboratories.
Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the Doctorate
Curriculum for Physical Therapy. The position will also require
scholarly activities that will demonstrate professional
productivity in research based upon the availability of resources
and consistent with the mission of the College and the Commission
on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
Qualified candidates should have:
Earned
PT degree from an accredited institution.• An academic doctorate
(PhD, EdD, ScD).• Current Florida physical therapist licensure or
eligible for Florida state licensure • Strong collaborative
and communication skills.• Additional requirements include
participation in advising, committee work, and other activities
supporting Florida Southern College’s teaching and learning
community.
