Assistant Teaching Professor in Computer Science and Software Engineering

The Computer Science and Software Engineering Department at Penn State Behrend invites applicants for two non-tenure line faculty positions starting Fall 2022. The selected candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in both resident and online modes.

A minimum of a master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is required by appointment start date. Candidates with prior teaching experience are preferred. Candidates with demonstrated exceptional ability as a teacher and adviser, evidence of professional growth and scholarship, and a level of subject matter mastery above the Assistant Teaching Professor rank, may be considered for a higher rank.

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College is an undergraduate and graduate college of The Pennsylvania State University.
