Job Summary

The Adjunct Assistant Professor, Certified Nurse Aide is responsible for facilitating class lectures, labs, and clinical instruction of high school health occupations students during fall and spring semesters, and generic college students during the summer semester.

Required Qualifications

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or a Multi-State License or have the qualifications to obtain licensure in Kansas as a Registered Nurse
2-5 years experience as a Registered Nurse
Strong background in nursing in a skilled nursing facility
Minimum of 1,750 documented hours of employment as a licensed nurse in a long-term care facility
Experience in supervision of CNAs and LPNs
Experience or education in Adult Education
Continuing education about person-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Adult Education experience
