Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Salary: $3,288 per month

Full classification Salary Range: $3,288 - $6,347 per month
  • This is a full-time (equivalent to 40 hours per week), probationary, non-exempt position.
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 14 paid holidays a year. Job Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Registrar this position is responsible for technical and analytical assignments related to the maintenance of articulation and related data in ASSIST, C-ID, TES, and other platforms. Primary responsibilities include reviewing, updating, and maintaining comprehensive articulation agreements with California community colleges. The incumbent works independently, to perform tasks, prioritize projects, identify roadblocks, and problem solve articulation and student issues. In addition, responsibilities include the research of transfer credit with respect to campus and CSU system policy.

  • Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of academic policies and procedures relating to and impacting articulation and transfer credit
  • Ability to analyze data and administrative problems and make sound policy and procedural recommendations for their solutions
  • Ability to organize and plan work and projects including handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and prepare detailed written reports and correspondence

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.


Department Summary

The Office of the University Registrar is dedicated to providing quality services to students, faculty, and staff. Our services include, but are not limited to, registration assistance, maintaining student academic records, and Veteran services. Our office is also responsible for articulation, coding transfer credit, and providing tools in support of accurate advising and timely graduation. We strive to uphold the policies of the institution and facilitate the graduation process through effective communication with the campus community while preserving the academic integrity of the university and the right of privacy to the student.

This will require the filing of a Statement of Economic Interest on an annual basis and the completion of training within six (6) months of assuming office and every two (2) years thereafter.
