Residence Education Team Assistant Director

Reports to the Associate Director for Residential Education and is responsible for oversight and leadership of 2-4 residentially-based Learning Communities (LCs) that house between 1300 to 1900 students (roughly one third of the on-campus population).  Responsible for: training, supervision, development, and evaluation of 2-3 frontline full-time professional staff members (including Area Coordinators and/or Residence Directors), and 1 Graduate Coordinator.  As a member of the Residential Education Leadership Team, oversee the administrative and management functions of their Campus Area, as well as assist in the development of policies and procedures for the department. Support the ACs/RD to establish Learning Communities that foster community and civic engagement, enhance learning, advance diversity and inclusion, and promote student health, engagement, and success. This is a required live on position.
