Instructor/Assistant Professor and Program Director of Medical Laboratory Science

The Health Science Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position to teach in and serve as program director for the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program. The MLS program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science. Teaching responsibilities require knowledge of all clinical laboratory disciplines. Program Director duties include laboratory and inventory management, clinical coordinator, adjunct faculty selection and support, student advisor, continuous maintenance of accreditation standards and status, and other director duties as needed. Curriculum developed based on standards for program accreditation.

Position should begin January 2022. All full-time faculty at SVSU are required to teach 12 credit hours per semester and engage in scholarly and community service and activities.
