Purpose of Job

The ideal candidate will teach coursework in the C.A . D . AET Program and provide training and student support to produce graduates who meet entry-level employment criteria for positions in the CAD field.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in field preferred but not required
State Teaching Certification not required

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS : NA

PREFERRED EDUCATION :
Prior teaching experience

Experience Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
A minimum of four years full-time directly related to field of instruction.

Software Requirements :
o AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit Architecture
Software Experience but not Required :
o Revit MEP, Revit Structure, Civil 3D, and Plant 3D, AutoCAD and MicroStation
Related Skill Requirements :
o Computer Aided Drafting/design experience in the Architectural industry
Areas of expertise in one or more of the following industry areas:
o Commercial, MEP, Fire Protection, Industrial Pipe, Civil and Topographical/Surveying, Structural, and Sustainability.

Work Schedule

WORK SCHEDULE :
Adjunct – Hours will vary based on course(s) being taught ( DAYLIGHT and NIGHT - TIMEHOURS NEEDED ) 7:00am to 9:30pm timeframe

WORKING CONDITIONS :
  • Equipment used includes desktop or laptop with Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment
  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
  • Work generally performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards

starting $41.00 per class hour
