Assistant Teaching Professor/Lecturer, Business Statistics and Analytics

The Department of Information and Technology Management (ITM) at The University of Tampa invites applicants for an annual renewable term position as an Assistant Teaching Professor/Lecturer in Business Statistics and Analytics to start in the fall 2022 semester.   

The department offers Bachelor of Science degrees in management information systems, business information technology, financial enterprise systems, and cybersecurity. The department also offers Master of Science degrees in cybersecurity, business analytics, and information and technology management. Starting fall 2022, the department will move to a newly constructed state of the art technology building equipped with innovative labs and learning environments. The Sykes College of Business is accredited by AACSB, and the MIS program is accredited by ABET. The department is planning to achieve ABET and DHS/NSA accreditation for the Cybersecurity programs.

Responsibilities include teaching three undergraduate four-credit hour courses each semester in the business statistics, data mining, and analytics areas and assisting students both in and out of classroom while adhering to all applicable department, college, and university policies and procedures. The candidate must have a master’s or a PhD degree from an AACSB/ABET accredited program, or equivalent with emphasis on Business Statistics and Analytics or related fields.
