Governors State University’s AACSB accredited College of Business seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Business Analytics and Management Information Systems beginning in January 2022. This is a partial year appointment covering spring and summer terms in 2022 (January through August). Visiting Assistant Professors will be appointed for a specific period of time. This temporary faculty position’s primary duties will emphasize teaching responsibilities in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics, including database management, management information systems, business analytics, and other courses.

The center will utilize GSU faculty expertise and its existing partners in both public and private sectors, the SCICBI will provide faculty consulting and employee training to businesses in the supply chain and logistics sector, certificate training for employees in these companies, and also co-working space and mentorship opportunities to startups and entrepreneurs in the supply chain and related sectors. Minimum Qualifications
-PhD or ABD in Management Information Systems or a related field
-Meets AACSB qualifications for Scholarly Academic (SA) or Practice Academic (PA)
-Teaching experience Preferred Qualifications
-PhD in Management Information Systems or a related field
-Teaching experience at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
