An IAA2 in the Advanced and Applied Technologies pathway as part of the Mechatronics, Electronics, and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies division is an integral part of our team. Candidate Profile

  • Experience creating and maintaining a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive environment for students, employees, and community members
  • Demonstrated ability for professional, high-quality, timely communication in-person, via email, phone and other communication media
  • Extensive experience working with the Google platform (email, calendar, contacts, drive, forms, etc)
  • Experience with Banner and/or other higher education data management systems
  • Experience carrying out complex tasks accurately with great attention to detail
  • Experience working independently with demonstrated ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks which may have competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with frequent interruptions and a changing business landscape environment
  • Interest in learning new skills, positive attitude, flexible and adaptable in an agile PCC environment
Minimum Qualifications

To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
  • High school diploma or equivalent
AND
  • Three (3) years of administrative support experience
OR
  • One (1) year in a position equivalent to Instructional Administrative Assistant I
NOTE: College or business school training may be substituted for up to two years of the administrative experience requirement.

Position Grade 17 Starting Salary Expectations The first two steps of the range are: $41,052 to $42,284 per year. Higher salary placement may be available based on qualifications, experience and internal equity. Position Grade Salary Range $41052 to $65880 Annual Salary FTE 1 PCC Benefits

Additionally, PCC provides a tuition waiver for yourself, domestic partner, and dependent children under 24 years of age. Partial tuition reimbursement for yourself at other accredited institutions (full-time employees only).

Paid Leave: (Pro-rated by FTE for Part-Time Employees)
  • Starts at 8 hours of vacation leave per month (additional vacation hours with years of service)
  • 8 hours of sick leave per month
  • 24 hours of additional personal leave days per year
  • 11 Paid holidays

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Work is generally performed in an office environment with frequent interruptions or changes in work flow. Occasional lifting, guiding, or carrying of light-weight materials or equipment may be required. Position involves sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal. Learned physical skill is required to perform keyboarding and/or ten-key functions. Background Check Required Yes
