The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science (SES) at Stevens Institute of Technology (Stevens) invites applications for an open rank teaching faculty position (Non-Tenured) in the broad area of mechanical engineering including thermal/fluid, structure and dynamics, product design and manufacturing, and control and robotics. The successful applicant is expected to participate in all aspects of the department’s activities and serve the profession.

Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. The position is anticipated to be filled at the assistant teaching professor level; senior candidates with a track record of success in teaching, scholarship, and mentoring will also be considered. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching and mentorship at undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants with engineering education pedagogical research expertise will be given priority.
