Part-Time Temporary Administrative Specialist (71117)
Pratt Institute
Pratt Institute's Learning/Access Center (L/AC) seeks a temporary Administrative Specialist who will assist with all processes related to learning support, including assisting the Associate Director in all logistics of the management of tutoring and workshop programming, including processing tutoring hours. The successful candidate will help with processes to track students working with the Student Care Coordinator. Applicants should be organized with excellent interpersonal skills and service orientation and must be adept at promoting a positive environment for diversity and inclusion.
On a typical day you will:
- Coordinate processes for learning support services, such as managing paperwork and processing hours/time sheets of part-time tutors
- Assist with monitoring, tracking and follow-up of students through the Institute's retention software (Starfish)
- Assist with identifying and mapping out support services available in various offices across campus
- Coordinate processes for tracking students enrolled with the learning/access center, including management of student data in colleague and internal rosters
This position is temporary and is needed during the academic terms (Fall semester, Spring semester), with the possibility of extension, offering 20 hours per week at the rate of $24 per hour.
