RIT’s Department of Graphic Media Science and Technology (GMST) in RIT’s College of Engineering Technology (CET) is currently seeking applications from exceptional candidates for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position which begins in mid-August 2022. A Ph.D. in printing technology, graphic communication, graphic media science, industrial or manufacturing engineering, information science and technology, materials science, or a closely related field is required. Candidates for this position will be expected to teach and conduct focused research in Print and Graphic Media Science and Technology. Responsibilities will include teaching which includes course and laboratory development with delivery via traditional and non-traditional formats, scholarship, and service. Scholarship productivity including securing external funding and publications in a well-defined area of focus that enhances and compliments the department’s strategic objectives is expected. As CET also houses programs with related disciplines, including packaging science and environmental sustainability, health and safety, the successful candidate will be expected to support interdisciplinary teaching and research opportunities within the college as well.
