  • This full-time, 35-hour position is responsible for providing a wide range of specialized, professional support to the Dean, Chairpersons and Directors in the School of Business & Digital Media. The general purpose of this position is to manage internal and external assessment, accreditation and related reporting to satisfy national accreditation, state, University- and School level reporting requirements. The position will lead SBDM efforts to collect, analyze, and learn from School, program, and course data in order to fulfil internal and external reporting requirements. The individual holding this position must be able to work independently, with a high degree of accuracy, and collaborate effectively as part of the School’s Leadership team. Reports to the Dean.

    Essential Functions:

    Assurance
  • Attend University meetings for the School of Business & Digital Media
  • Attend regional and/or national meetings for the SBDM, as needed.
  • Maintain updated student, program, intern, alumni and other lists, as needed.
  • Guide, instruct, and consult SBDM personnel and other strategic partners on data collection, analysis, visualization, and interpretation as needed.
Reporting
  • Research and assist in completing quality assurance and accreditation reporting.
  • Data Collection and Monitoring: maintain spreadsheets (e.g. job placements, enrollment, faculty load, etc.) for reporting.
  • Utilize AEFIS for semi-annual reporting procedures (student course evaluation, course and program assessment results, etc.).
  • Gather, report and summarize course and program assessment results for annual internal and external assessment reporting requirements.
  • Retrieve and distribute a variety of student reports for each department and program multiple times per year.
  • Prepare a variety of correspondence, agenda, memorandum, reports and other materials.
Other
  • Light office support to SBDM faculty and staff, as needed.
  • Light Saturday support to MBA program faculty, as needed.
  • Integrate the core values of respect, compassion, integrity, justice, and service in all aspects of interactions.
  • Attend relevant professional development, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with outreach to students, faculty, and staff in an academic institution a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in survey design and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues and diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills.
  • Experience in using relevant tools and software including Microsoft Office, survey tools, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
